THANK YOU to Colton Dugan and Trevor Jones for working our arena dirt all week during the slacks and rodeo performances! The Stephenville rodeo committee savys a lot of things and absolutely understood it would be best to hire a ground expert to come in to do the dirt during our rodeo. Colton and crew did an amazing job especially since the arena was a brand new facility with no history. The ground stayed consistent over 4 days of running barrels, bucking broncs, running flags, and rope horses stopping/turning. Rodeo officials were able to set a WPRA Standard Pattern where one of the fastest times in the WPRA record books was turned in by Brittany Tonnozzi (16.64 seconds) on the very last day of the rodeo. Barrel checks were won in slack as well as all three performances and would have had a few more money earning times in the performances if not for knocked over barrels.
