Cowboy Capital Dummy Roping
The 2025 Cowboy Capital Dummy Roping was a great success in thanks to our presenting sponsor, Smarty Rodeo. Additional sponsors are the Cowboy Church of Erath County, Classic Equine/Classic Ropes, and X-Treme Team Roping. Next years Cowboy Capital Dummy will be held in conjunction with the Cowboy Capital of the World County Team Roping in September.

The McCoys Mutton Bustin
The 2025 Mutton Bustin did not disappoint and fun was had by all! Thank you McCoy’s Building Supply for being the presenting sponsor. Additional sponsors include Lani Rust, CiCi’s Pizza, Josey Key, and Capital Hatters.
Rules: Ages 3-8; weight limit of 55 lbs; NO riding ropes; MUST ride facing forward. Helmets and vests are provided. The top 15 scores come back the following weekend to ride in the PRCA Rodeo Performances, 5 per night. Buckles and other great prizes will be awarded at the rodeo.
